Rules of the regatta

You may charter our speedboats or our traditional sailboats, the catamarans or the optimists, the motor- and sailing yachts that fit on the high seas or the racing boats. They all have enough power.

We do accept any racy challenge if there’s only the possibility to win together with you. For all classes, races and speeds the same rules do apply. Here you are going to find our attitude that we have, when we pick up speed for you.

Rule 1 | Talk about strategy and tactics before you start.

Before the command “Cast off!” we take our time. We listen to you, discuss with you about what and whom you’d like to reach with your communication. And we do ask. Then we gather way together with you, when we can see clearly which finishing lines you have in mind.

Rule 2 | Don’t give anything on sailor’s yarn.

“The Titanic cannot sink.” For sure not. „Here are no shallows.“ We rather take a look at the nautical charts. „According to GPS there shouldn’t be an island here.“ We can also work with compass and sextant. This means: We know our job. The old marketing school as well as the latest news regarding target group definitions. And we take care that we always catch up on the latest status.

Rule 3 | Think ahead and not only up to the next buoy.

Of course we define stopovers. Together with you we take a look at where we are standing. The most important thing though is not to lose the finishing line out of sight when taking care of all the details: Market shares – this is what it’s all about. It’s about new customers. It’s about a better image. Each stopover we do measure at its contribution to the total.

Rule 4 | Always think of something new.

Every so often we already have acquired an advance with startling maneuvers. We always present a creative solution to you. A creative solution that also works in your target group. More than a nice design, more than a funny idea – but a very solution.

Rule 5 | Check your course.

Sometimes winds and weather are changing on the way. That’s why we always check again and again if we’re on the right way or if we have to change course. We obviously challenge our methods: Might there be better ones?

Rule 6 | Give clear commands.

At sea there is not only often unfavorable weather, but also a tight conversation. We make ourselves comfortable: We tell you how we see things. You tell us what you think about this. In our experience an open, sometimes even confronting but always respectful and constructive discussion leads to the very best results. And all the time we do know: You take the commands.

Rule 7 | React on what’s coming up.

…instead of on what you’ve planned initially. Especially in markets that develop and change quite quickly there are lots of risks. And chances. We react fast and flexible. That applies to the strategy but also to the operative business. There are situations in the production, during an event or a procedure that don’t allow us to enjoy leisure-time or weekends. That’s the way it is then.

Rule 8 | Deal reasonably with your resources.

To stop in the middle of a competition in order to store additional provisions or fuel? No way. Efficiency is important. You can rely on the fact that we are going to deal responsibly with the budget you commit us. We always look for solutions with the best price-performance ratio, no matter if with regards to media-, production- or other external supplier’s cost. And we do make these solutions transparent so that you may see at any time where you are standing.

Rule 9 | Hire your crew properly.

We have specialists on board. We have generalists on board. Associates who do plan, make concepts, consult – and realize. Everybody sorts things out. The most important thing is: We can always rely on each other. And you can rely on us. You, our customers, we don’t keep you outboard. Only if you are a member of our crew we do reach the finishing line successfully. You will see: You are going to feel good on board of the Goldfleet.

Rule 10 | If you reach the finishing line first, then you have won.

That’s the way it is in your business. That’s the way it is in our business. Being an owner-managed agency your success concerns us as much as it concerns you. You can be totally sure: The one who managed to enter the Goldfleet as a start will not be satisfied with the second place.
